The country is grappling with a surge in preventable deaths and unaddressed mental health needs, according to the latest edition of the Commonwealth Fund’s Scorecard on State Health System Performance. The report annually ranks states’ health systems based on how well they provide high-quality, accessible, and equitable health care. And for the first time, the scorecard includes measures for evaluating reproductive care and women’s health.

It is now possible to view Putting Vision into Action: Annual Quality Assurance Report from the Department of Social and Health Services’ Developmental Disabilities Administration for Fiscal Year 2022: July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. The report shares data on services that they provide and those they support. The report is a good insight as to what the DDA does in the community and their outcomes.
This report is an overview of how many people the DDA serve, which services they use and their operating budget is used. This year they made some improvements such as:

- Service innovations and successes during the pandemic.
